When I first had it, I found it to be way too sweet.
After some time, I found the sweetness to subside a little bit and the bitterness to show up more. The one I opened today was my last can, and I did find it to be more malty than before. Parish stuff usually holds up well, but I don't think that was the case with this one. It did have a prime time to drink for me when it wasn't overly sweet, but maybe that's just me.

I agree. Ghost, for instance, holds up for months without getting too malty.
