Is that at LSU? So you studied the effects and hazards of dodging tar bars while stumbling around drunk and sun burned looking for an environmentally safe place to take a leak?

FBD
This and Pliny are neck and neck for me. Just a great tasting brew.

SBD was an Arrogant Bastard at The Chimes. So many taps wasted on boring beers there. TBD back home is a Deschutes Red Chair NWPA.
Yes, their rotating taps were Redd's Apple Ale, Batch 19 and Leinenkugel something or another. That's why I had a Tin Toof Juke Joint IPA yesterday.
I almost ordered that one, but then I remembered some emphatic texts I got from urinetrouble! Their tap selection is as bad as I've seen in a while.

Was at Chimes a few weeks ago and was disappointed as well. You need to check out the Pelican House Kim. Hands down best tap selection in BR and NOLA. Haven't had the food but I was there last weekend and it looked good.

I know I have asked, but don't recall the answer, does Pelican House fill growlers?

I should probably recant those statements until further research is performed. I'm thinking that was served from a tainted line or something, albeit at Chimes. It cant be as bad as I remember that night.

They had those on Lets Pour today too. Thought about it but didn't pull the trigger because they only had 5 left, which was going to cost me like $20 in shipping (as opposed to the free shipping if you order 6).

Chimes has really been slacking with their rotating taps. They need to step it up for sure.

I got a Double Jack in the fridge calling my name for later this week. Wookey Jack as well. Gonna be a good week of beers!

Free shipping also if you mix and match 6 beers from the same region, FYI.

Will do. I had youngsters in the group tonight, so it was not an option.

KJ what day of the week you'll be here this month?

FBD
Not bad at all.
Thanks Coater.

I went to grammar/high school/college with the owner. Would've never in a million years thought he would open a maven-style bar, but props to him, I'll definitely try and check it out this fall.

I'm not sure. My first time there was this past Saturday. I would guess no for now since there new but it wouldn't hurt to bring your own one day and see.

I think so, and I'm from NOLA. Was at PH saturday and the Pub sunday so I have a pretty recent comparision. Both had a great selection of beers and you can't go wrong with either, PH just had a bigger selection.
I'm not saying the Pub is better than PH as a whole though, few things top drinking a beer on the Pub's balcony overlooking St. Charles with a cold brew.
