The Hoppy Feet 1.5 and the Blaecorn Unidragon are really good.

I also like the Clementine and Clementine 1.5, Third Party Candidate, Genghis Pecan.

3BD - Sixpoint Diesel. I'm sticking with my canned craft theme tonight.

4BD is a taste of homebrewed black IPA as it went into the keg. Gonna like this one.

That one have some grapefruit going on or what?

I think I had some of the Gerst at St. Patty's day Coater. Both of the beers you've mentioned tonight from them were on tap on the side of the van.

Don't be. You were just making sure you were following the rules on the bottle.

How's the KBS? I have two bottles. One I plan on drinking this weekend and another I want to cellar for a year. Can't wait to bust into it.

Thanks Kim... I will say this about the bruery...its quite a scene there...beer nerd heaven in a tiny unassuming industrial center in placentia. Some serious funky stuff...my highlight was the looks on my 3 non-craft beer buddies faces as they devoured some viscious sours and unfiltered bottle conditioned wild ales. Those guys were troopers

FYI. Alabama senate just passed the legalization of home brewing. Just waiting on the governor's signature. Cheers to our Gump brethren.

Glad you had a great time Ryno. Some decent stuff down there. You've been to both now right and would you agree that SD beer scene >>> LA beer scene ??

I think the SF scene is far superior to LA yes.

Hell I found a gastopub on hollywwood ave that had Russian River beer and camped there yesterday. The barkeep tried to push allagash on me but I didn't take the bait

Oh SF for sure is better than LA. But have you gone to San Diego as well? SD>>LA IMO.

I just found perhaps the best brewery/restaurant website. Its from Magnolia Brewery. If they keep it updated, which I bet they do, it will be awesome to keep track of whats available. Really clean app.

Allagash is from Maine and is one of the best breweries in America. Dean are you comparing SD or SF to LA? In any case both win because LA beer scene sucks compared to both.

My initial question was about SD vs. LA because I thought Ryno had gone to SD. SF and LA is no comparison.Hell, SD and LA is no comparison.

Just FYI...I fricking hate LA...for the most part.

Not a huge fan of the OC either.

ETA: Ryno knows of Alagash he is just smart to stick close to the Pliny tap given he doesn't get to drink it all the time.
