Burgersmith. Like their taps being local, just not the ones I would have picked.

Yep. I applaud their good intentions, but they picked a lot of duds. I usually have a Hopitoulas or a Canebrake when there. They did not have Envie yet last time I was there.

I have one in my fridge. Haven't tried it yet. I did include it in my trade with a couple of FBDers, so they may have tried it already...

Not yet, but maybe Saturday.

FBD and 2BD shared with B and ut. First time to try both and they were excellent. The Toppling Goliath pseudoSue reminded me of Zombie Dust and was as good an APA as I've had. The LaTache was another great sour wild ale style beer! It was like a funky sparkling white wine with just the right amount of sour. Thanks.

I am a fan. HIgh quality patty, especially if you order the filet burger, and they will cook it to your desired temperature. If you want a rare burger or a medium rare burger, you get it.

May have to go and try it next time I am in BR rather than hitting BD for a beer and a burger or Chimes

It is certainly worth a try. Order the filet burger.

3BD is a Hopworks Urban Brewery Ace of Spades DIPA. I have started plowing through the Oregon beers I got from Jax. This one is very nice.

FBD - Abbaye de Saint Bon-Chien. Awesome stuff. Hard to believe there's 11% ABV hidden in there.

Also picked up a growler of Lone Pint Yellow Rose, a local IPA that's becoming a crowd favorite in Houston...saving it for a little get together this weekend.

Luna's not a bad place for a lunch and brew, but I HATE how the bar stool sits so low in comparison to the bar itself. It's as if they want you to feel like a midget.

FBD: Founders Centennial IPA after a nice 6.5 mile run.

You can drink a few beers during the week.

This. Training for the only marathon I've ever run, there were probably more days during training where I drank at least 1 beer in the evening after work vs. not. Only "clean" week was the week of the race.

Ran 2:49...so I'm proof it can be done with nice, cold, refreshing beer.

My dad runs a lot. Like the kind of runner that will put in 30 miles on Friday just for shits and giggles because he's bored. He always says, "what's the point of running so much if I can't drink good beer whenever I want?"

Such a wise, wise man.

I think you should make his saying your sig quote.

3BD is Reinaert Flemish Wild Ale. Something unsettling about the finish.
