Nice. I'm jealous, we haven't been to the Grand this year. We were looking at dates in July, but ended up going to the beach with family instead. I need a good 2-3 night stay down there without my kids in tow.

Fish ain't biting. Puffy stingray foot, we still in it.
Had 10-12 assorted lites and local brews. So whatever this one is walking to get lunch. Jai alai and fried shrimp and grouper on the beach.

And looking back through my photo memories, seems we have been there this week at least a couple of different years. My wife worked for a local school system and has some of her retirement with the state, so we get to use the RSA rates when we go. We were down there two years ago in July. Took the kids for 3-4 nights, can't remember. This was when our baby had just turned 1, and our daughter was old enough to watch him and his brother for an hour or so while he was napping, and we went to the adult pool. As I was sitting there with a beer, I checked the dates they had coming up, and they had like a Monday-Tuesday the week school started back. I texted my mom and sisters and asked if they'd want to keep the kids a couple of nights, didn't really say why. They all agreed pretty quickly, so I booked it for two nights and my wife and I came down alone. Short trip, but it was wonderful, and I think most schools had started back already. Ours didn't until later that week.
Oh, and FBD is an undocumented (because I'm not posting from my phone) Gulf Coast IPA.
