So why are you not at Goose Island? Work got you too busy? I promise that would be one of my first stops.

Damn man. I wish I would have know. My phone died right after my last post. I had to blindly navigate the subway back to my friend's place. I did find a cool little bottle shop on carmine.
Nbd is water while I wait for my friend to get home

FBD - buckshot pale ale
2BD - fat tire
3BD - buckshot pale ale
4bd - rebel IPA

Not the best selection in RDU airport but I haz a thirst so they will suffice.

Unstinkish pic on the way.

Are you gonna be in the Triangle? I have loads of recs if you need them.

Mostly for Chapel Hill and Durham, but I know a few nice spots in Raleigh too.

I'm heading beak home after a 5 day business trip. Stayed at The Franklin in Chapel Hill and hit up just about every bar within walking campus around campus.

You ready? I'm ready. I need a beer. This hangover isn't gonna go away on its own.

Nice! Prime location to take in the best of what CH has to offer. Did you make it down to Carrboro? It's right up the road. They have a Tyler's Taproom there that's solid. They also have a really good bottle shop.

Durham > Raleigh > Chapel Hill, IMO, but some days I miss living there.

NBD - another rebel IPA

Yep. Don't know that I did Carrboros... But might have, shite got fuzzy a few nights and we were bar hopping so who knows?

I know we Did Tyler's cause we walked there one mid-afternoon and I was sweating my arse off.

Did up Old Chicago, and some cool little joint that was built inside a bunch of train cars. Had some old dude bar tending in the back booth that reminded me of Heisenberg from Breaking Bad. Dude was a bad mood fricker but it was funny as shite.

Drank a few at mellow mushroom, had some good eats at The Lattern and some Italian joint.

shite, probably hit up 15-20 bars and 4 pretty solid restaurants all within walking distance from The Franklin.

I did not know that Old Chicago was maven friendly until I moved to Portland... Is it the same everywhere, or does it vary from store to store?

Hell man, whenever. Speaking of Nola FBDers, I am planning on hitting up Sour Saturday at Avenue tomorrow to do some day drinking, weather dependent. Anyone else going?
