For research purposes I am having another for 2BD. Man, it smells great but there is something off in the finish and it lingers. Cardboard taste?

I keg. I use the quick lager method and fine with gelatin. I used to not care about clarity, but this past year I've tried to clear them up, and I think I got the hang of it now.

10 lbs Pilsner malt
0.25 lb acid malt
Single infusion at 152
75 minute boil
1 oz Saaz at fwh
1 oz Saaz at 60
1 oz Saaz at 5
S23 yeast fermented at 50 for a week
Raised to 70 over the course of a week
Lowered to 32 over the course of a week
Fined and stored at 32 for another week
Kegged and force carbed.
Enjoy

NBD is a homebrew Oktoberfest. Or festbier. Or Vienna Lager. Probably closer to Vienna Lager and what I intend to enter it in to competition as for a local competition at New Heights Brewery.
