Felt like baking some cookies out of boredom and don't want to go with one of the more popular ones like chocolate chip cookies

Want to try something new. Any ideas?

Don’t laugh, but my family loves the Betty Crocker Oatmeal Chocolate chip cookie mix. I use coconut oil instead of the butter and add some chopped pecans. It’s pretty good and really quick and easy.

We make macaroons every year for Christmas. It's fun and they taste great. The kids always look like shite, but mine come out on point.

Just made a batch of “cowboy cookies” for the neighbors. Came out great. There are several variations online. The recipe I used called for chocolate chips, oats, and pecans

Sweeties

From our time spent in Texas and better for Valentine's Day than Christmas, Sweeties are flaky almond goodness in each bite.

I also like making oatmeal cookies with raisinets and pecans.

Biscotti, they keep forever and freeze well. Almond, coconut pecan, pistachio and dried cranberry if you’re into holiday colors.

I made ossi dei morti earlier this week: an Italian almond meringue that bakes up pale beige like bleached bones (hence the name).

Made coconut chocolate chip brownies tonight to add to my cookie tray for a party tomorrow.
