Same with Zaxby's. Chicken finger places seem to do that. They shoot up in popularity, expand too quick and then quality goes to shite. I remember when Guthrie's was good. Now it's complete garbage and practically out of business.

Even like 4 or 5 years ago Canes was awesome, the chicken fingers were nice and meaty. Now when I get a Caniac there is like one good chicken finger and the rest are all these scrawny little shitty ones that are fatty and are pretty much all breading with some dried out chicken in the center. And with these quality going down they keep raising their prices.

When im in Lincoln I hardly ever get Canes anymore.

I don't know if this qualifies for fast food. The ones I have eaten at were more like a casual sit down place.

Last time I went up 65 a few weeks ago I stopped at the one on Cullman. It was the furthest one north I was looking at. I didn't search the Huntsville area, I wasn't waiting that long. That one, the ones in Tuscaloosa, the one in Prattville off the interstate, and in Birmingham have been great every time. Honestly it's impressive, it's like Chick Fil A tier quality, service and cleanliness. I'm sorry your experience has been different

Yeah, I wouldn't rank it anywhere near Chick-Fil-A. My experience has been more like going to Hardee's before they did that big menu trim and focused on burgers probably decades ago now. Food was completely sub par for fast food.

Anyone said Steak and Shake?

Not available everywhere and two different models. One more of a hipster burger only kinda joint and the other the old style diner steak and shake.

Taco casa
I think you have to be from the area to love Taco Casa. That is the greasiest shite I've ever seen, covered with gas station nacho cheese. I never got the fascination, while sober anyways

Fazoli's, which I understand is a Kentucky-based chain although there used to be more in TX.
