No, didn't really have any desire to.

There was so much great stuff I ate in Chicago, and I wanted the one big splurge to be unforgettable, so I saved my tokens for Alinea.

Quite good. Prepare to have to roll out the door when you're done.

That's not a problem I'm going to need a good excuse to convince my friend (who has no food interest whatsoever) to join me there when we go to NYC.
Luckily, her hobby is spending insane amounts of money on unnecessary things.

at 10 pm, pour a large glass of milk into favorite glass, mix in Nestles Quick, put in freezer until 10:15, right when some ice is starting to form, restir, and try to sip. I can't and just end up chugging, after all that careful planning..

Not that I'm an expert, but it is right there with anything I have ever experienced.

Sounds like a good idea

Speaking of which....I have this hot chocolate mix and I really like the taste of the chocolate. But I wan't it to be cold chocolate milk. I suppose I could just make hot chocolate and put it in the freezer?

Is that the place that has something to do with Donald Trump? Or wait, that might be Avenues...

ought to be ok, as long as it's made with milk, and not water.. I just can't get into the stuff you mix with hot water..

At $125 per person (plus drinks and tip) for a four course meal, it IS a special occasion, and they treat you accordingly. It's EASILY within my top5 all time.

where can you get abita root beer on tap outside of the abita pub?

and Tonique makes some pretty good sodas. I like their strawberry one. If you're going with a group and you're the DD, they're free, too
