Pluckers. I hate Hooters Wings. And now that Twin Peaks is open, there's really no reason ever to go there.

I love Pluckers Cajun, garlic parm, and spicy lemon pepper. I also like wing stop. Most people say make your own, but wings are just one food item I don't care to make.

About the double fried and double sauced wings at Chimes...how did you even think up to ask for that? How do your waiters typically respond to a request like that?
Long story short, when I tended bar there a waitress told me some dude ordered that.
I tried the same order that day. It was awesome.
They don't seem like they cook long enough to me, so when I tell a waitress that these day they know just what I'm saying.
They say, "o.k. Double fried, double dipped?"
I say, "that's it!" They bring the wings, I make the vanish.

You won't regret it.

Jasmines on the Bayou. No contest. Best wings hands down.

Same here.
We don't have a Hooter's in LC!

Just the piddly small wings from BWW. Luckily, we got a Wing Stop a month or so ago. That place is pretty good. The hot is very good, not too hot and sort of sweet, kinda like crystal hot sauce.
Not of fan of their weird sugar fries or whatever though.

I like the hot ones at Wingstop too, and I hate that their fries are always soggy.
I'm a fan of the Thai Curry flavor at BBW.
Neither of these are close to Plucker's though

Wingstop wings are usually just as small as the BWW wings imo. But their cajun flavor is really good.

Place in Jacksonville called Gators - Dockside. I think they fry them, then sauce them, and then grill them (No breading).
By the time you get them, the sauce is cooked on, and they aren't messy, but they still have tons of flavor and they are really juicy. Tough to beat.
The one thing I dislike about wings is when they have sooo much sauce, that you're hands are dripping in it, and you can't taste the crispy skin and tender meat.

A friend of mine just visited from New Orleans and had never been to Pluckers. He's used to the Wing Stop and I told him not to go overboard because Plucker's wings are a lot bigger. He ordered 30 wings with the fixins including that massive beer in a mug. He got to around wing number 15 and started to get the disgusted full look. He ended up finishing the wings and I laughed at him for the next hour as he moaned about being stuffed. He loved Pluckers though.
