Fair Price - 7 year old Traeger

I have a 7 year old Traeger Tailgater (around 300 SI of cooking surface) that my buddy is wanting to buy off of me when I upgrade to the Pro 34. My question is if $150 is a fair price for that? It still works well, we use it several times a month, always covered when not in use, but I don't want to inadvertently screw him on the price.
TIA!
TIA!

Just give it to him. Make sure he invites you to his first cook on it and drink his good bourbon while you’re there.

That seems like a sound course of action

I just used my FIL's Traeger this past weekend. I did not like the controller. I gave my FIL a new Weber Connect probe system, and put the probes through the freeze and boil tests to verify accuracy.
I don't know if Traeger has changed out the controller or not, but it had settings for:
Smoke (stayed at about 180°),
then 180° (stayed at about 212°),
then 225° (stayed at about 252°)
so on and so forth.
I have a Myron Mixon pellet smoker and the controller is infinitely variable, so I can fine tune the heat however I want. I like to slow cook at 225° but I couldn't get his Traeger to stay at 225°.
Have they changed? His is about four, maybe five years old.

I had a traeger for a few months and it could not stay on or keep temp. I now have a GMG which cooks awesome but has paint issues compared to the Traeger. Sounds like the OP has a good one if it lasted this long

Give it to him with apologies.

This is what I did when I replaced my Charbroil 5 burner with a Weber 3 burner I bought a few years ago. The guy had just bought his first house and I asked him to help me get the Charbroil off my 2nd story back porch since it was way too big for one person to handle safely.
When we got it down I just told him if he wanted, we could put it in his truck for him to have and he gladly took it.
I decided to leave the new grill on the ground floor area and not put it on the 2nd floor porch.

Not to derail this thread, but Costco has 20 lb. bags of Traeger Wood pellets in Cherry and Hickory at their N.O. store for $14 and change.
I picked up 1 of each yesterday to use in my homemade smokers for doing beef jerky, bacon, sausages and cold smoked salmon.
