Chilli over pasta or rice is good and stretches the pot of chilli.

Beef stew over pasta, yet to try it but I bet it would be good.

Tomato/meat sauce over rice, probably did that back during my chemical days, but I don't remember.

My go to when I want stroganoff but don't have the sour cream and too lazy to run out and get it.
Also, pasta in or with your rice was done commercially...Rice A Roni the San Francisco Treat.

I loved rice a roni in college. Invited Mom over for smothered round steak with rice a roni and gravy. Poor Mom.

My favorite dish is actually fettuccine over rice. No sauce or anything. I also love beef stew mixed with cheese and mussels. Sometimes I pee on my own shite and broil it. fricking outstanding. You really should try it.
