"Ethnic"? So anything that isn't a burger?

I guess anything that isn't native to La or America in this case. Not everyone is as opened minded as the FDB. I have friends that wouldn't easy at Shaya, not everyone gets jacked to try different foods.

Yama and Ichiban are well ahead of them, no way they should be on any list except for atmosphere...

Ah, the great atmosphere Yama has. The blend of strip mall and takeout Chinese food is unaralleled.
I like Yama, probably best in BR, but Tusnami makes up in quality with atmosphere.

I do love to stare at the muddy arse waters of the Mississippi River while I dine!
The sushi is meh and the atmosphere there is greatly overstated.

I like Tsunami
I think Ichiban and Yama are the best in terms of food, but I enjoy the atmosphere at Tsunami and I've never had an issue with the food. I think the muddy river looks just fine from there.

Sorry it didn't have the charm of a crawfish pond in CENLA or a crime scene in NOLA, not many better views in Louisiana than that one.

I've never left Tsunami satisfied with their food.

Abyssinia Cafe on Magazine is legit.

And it's BYOB.
Great for show and tell, but not a must stop. Even in that 1.5 mile stretch of Mag.

the AP will take you back -- it's not too late.
Why you gotta bring up the armpit? You insecure? You like your muddy water and barge atmosphere of Tsunami?

I like it. There is a sunset and skyline.
Honestly trying to think of a better view than that.
