Elisa's Cuban Coffee and Kitchen Food Truck

I finally tried this food truck last week and was blown away. Might be the best Cuban sandwich in BR. It's simple and "authentic" as in bread, ham, pork, swiss, mustard, pickles.
Today I got the Cuban tamales plate. Also very good. It's a pile of mojo pork, pork skin, griddle smashed corn cakes (mistook them for plantains/tostones at first). Comes with a green/mojo sauce. Enough food for 2 meals.
They're usually located on North Street downtown (across the street from Main Street Market) Monday to Friday for breakfast and lunch.

I agree with everything you said. The sandwich and the tamales are excellent!

If they had a brick and mortar I’d get their Cuban once a week. It’s great.

Need to reverse-engineer that green sauce. It’s something good.

Every cuban needs salami.

Careful. You'll fire up that Tampa / Miami Cuban debate.

Oh there is no debate. That is how my great grand uncle made them at his grocery store in Ybor at the turn of the century, way before Miami became a hub for Cuban immigrants.
