glad you liked it.

I went crazy at the Bellagio Buffet recently. Easily lives up to the hype. Lotsa good eats in Vegas. I'll try Paris next time.

Only one real question... What did you have for dessert?

Creme Brule (spelling?), it is kind of a tradition for my girlfriend and I.

App: French bagette, french onion cream and ceaser salad.

Main Course: Beef Tenderloin and Lumped crusted crab. Green beans with almonds in lemon foamed whip, it actually tasted like maple syrup and almonds (amazing). Potatoes au gratin, baked cheesy potatoes with a garlic cream sauce.

Dessert: Creme Brule, double shot espresso.

The lady ordered some rare type of Pinot, I had a glass but I am not a big wine person.

I never did get to eat at Paris. Before what was supposed to be dinner, I stopped off at a craps table. There was this Whale that they flew in from Tennessee who would toss me (and anyone at the table) a 50 chip every time we rolled him anything hard.

Needless to say I decided to stay at that table and skipped dinner.

How much was the meal and what is the dresscode there? I've always wanted to try it but either had a free dinner elsewhere or wasn't dressed nice enough when I was there.

Next time I go I wanna do it. The old lady is picky but I think she will like it. What floor is it on??

It's expensive. When I ate there back in 2005, I had some kind of fish over hearts of palm. It tasted AMAZING but the portions were pretty small, and just that plate of food was over $50.

As far as dress code goes, my friend and I were told we had to wear dresses and my friend's boyfriend was in a coat (I can't remember if he wore a tie). However, while we were at dinner we saw other patrons who were dressed extremely casually. I would err on the side of dressy.

You go down into the Paris casino and you take the elevator to the top of the Eiffel Tower and the restaurant is up there. Dress code is whatever really, I dressed like shite (jeans, pearl snap flannel and dress loafers). My meal was $255 and that included a $70 dollar bottle of wine, I tipped the guy well but the service was amazing. I recommend going at night, the water show at the Bellagio was amazing and the table by the window gave us a perfect view.

Power date.

Eiffel Tower at sunset window table. (overlooking the Bellagio Fountains)

Lunch the next day at Mon Ami Gabi. Patio seating of course.(perfect people watching)

Both restaurants are at the Paris with great views of the Fountains.

In Vegas? I had the worst experience with mussels there. My mom took me out to eat and it was terrible, we had some nasty muddy arse mussels. I would say one of the worst places I ate at while in Vegas.

Some good wine though.

The best meal my wife and I ever had was at Hugo's Cellar at the Four Queens Hotel in Downtown Vegas. Fantastic. They gave my wife a rose when we walked in then they start you out with assorted bread and cheese, then the salad guy comes to your table and prepares your salad table side. They bring you a tiny sorbet to cleanse you pallet before your entree arrives. I had the rack of lamb which was awesome. Then they bring you assorted fruits and a chocolate dipping sauce. It was fantastic. Will be there again in June. Our bill was around $200, but we got like 30% off with one of those ticket vouchers from TixForDinner.

Great restaurant. I also recommend Picasso across the street at the bellagio. Both have chef's menus, which I typically enjoy.
