The in-laws booked a cabin in Georgia the first week of Nov. and have invited us along.
We are staying in Blairsville, but will have a car and can drive to any great restaurants/wineries/breweries within a reasonable distance.
We're South Louisianians transplanted in New England, so a Southern food fix is top of the list, but open to all suggestions.
This will be our first time in this area so looking for any and all recommendations that y'all may have

We were just up there over the summer. We only ate out once but Hush Cuban Cafe in Dillard was highly recommended by our Airbnb hosts and it was very good food. Husband works kitchen and wife waits tables. Looks like it’s a little bit of a hike from blairsville but if you are out that way, check it out.

If you’re in downtown Blue Ridge try Cantaberry for lunch. We stayed just outside of BR and ate there one day. Great sandwiches and soups

I live in the area and there just aren’t that many good options. About the closest you’ll find great eats is in Hayesville, NC (The Cooper Door) or Cafe Rel in Franklin, NC.

Harvest On Main is great.
I also like the pizza place in Blue Ridge. Forget the name, but likely wouldn't impress someone from the NE.

The hippy place? Mystic Mountain?
My friend had his bachelor party in Blue Ridge a couple years ago and we pulled in as we got in to town. I thought it was pretty good too.
OP if you are any type of fly fishing fan that is a great area. Oyster Bamboo Fly Rods makes perhaps the finest bamboo cane fly rods on planet earth. Neat store to go in and talk to the owner.

Black Sheep restaurant in Blue Ridge was good on our recent trip a couple of weeks ago. Reservations hard to get

The Copper door has a chef from nola. Highly recommended based on reviews. Make reservations.

Edit- didn't realize it was an hour from Blairsville. But people drive alot more than an hour to eat at the historic Dillard House.

Just looked this place up, and this wasn't it. Place I'm thinking of had a big deck out back. I didn't see it in Blue Ridge so it's likely I'm confusing it with someplace else.

Blue Ridge Brewery - Brewpub
Misty Mountain Hops - haven’t been here yet but it looks cool
