The Olive Street Bistro is a seldom mentioned but extremely good Italian/Mediterranean place that has the best atmosphere in town. It's on Olive Street, just off of Fairfield.

Can't believe I forgot that place. Get the stuffed tortellini. It will change your life.

Quite a few people seem to like Olive St. Bistro. Is this place kid friendly (tweens)?

It's more of an upscale place, but if your kids don't randomly crap in their hands and throw it at each other, you should be ok...

I have actually eaten at this little Chinese place East 70th St not far from the Interstate. It is a converted gas station but the food is good.

China Hot!

If you go to Strawns, the one on Kings closes at 3.

Clever. You've never said that before.

Zach...I usually agree with you but the owners of Herby-K's are very good friends of mine. Don't be so disrespectful.

Well, I admit that being disrepectful around Herby K's can be dangerous.

Never eaten at this place but I've heard good things about it........it's the Texas Street Tavern in Bossier City........but it probably doesn't qualify as a family meal with 9 & 13 YOs.......Anyone on The Rant been there?

I've been there. For the money, there are better steaks (Cub, Steakhouse, Binion's) but the waitresses are unbelievable. So yeah, not a great date place if you have staring problems... but a good place to go with friends.

Have eaten there many times. Good but pricey. Would not bring kids.

I used to bartend there about 8 years ago... upper management in the company went to crap and the food quickly after.

Tacomania and superior are my favorite and there is no comparison to Posado's.

That's low grade dog food.
I hear Madison Square Garden is really good. I've never been though.
