Hell yeah, used to jack CDs and DVDs from that Music Warehouse all the time as a young gun after enjoying a nice meal at Chilis
Edit: Primus Hallucino-Genetics DVD was my most prized loot, watched it the other night again for nostalgia

They didn’t want to be that far out or build from scratch from what they’ve said. That property is back on the market.
Also they were opening that Lafayette and Jackson locations so I’m sure they had a bit to chew on for awhile.

Well they didn’t make it in the middle of town either but the food and the service was bad. I think Deanies will do good off College.
French Market does very well and it’s virtually identical to Galatoires.

Galatoire's failed twice, both times because of location. The most recent because of the odd placement of the building. Traffic is bad enough in Baton Rouge. Nobody wants to sit in the middle of it and drink. Galatoire's would've been better placed in the old Macaroni Grill location at Citi Place, Town Centre or Downtown. I hate that we lost Galatoire's.

They’re about 10 years too late with this. The whole appeal of the charbroiled oysters has come and gone. Now, seems like most restaurants offer this now as opposed to 10 years ago when you had to go to Dragos to get them.
And as mentioned before, outside the oysters their menu is pretty blah. I give it a year.

I bet they wish they could move the Lafayette location there. That place is a ghost town. Days are numbered
