Glad you enjoyed! La Fete really does a good job too. The people that do it also do The Essential and Bandit Patisserie, a few blocks away.

Cayo Coco which is right next to La Fete, has a dynamite rum bar next time you are here if you enjoy tiki. I think their food is good, just not somewhere I go to eat a lot though. I will stop by and hit up their bar for some tiki drinks a lot. Tucana Tiki is another that is really solid.

Bygone's is another new cocktail bar that is phenomenal. The amount of effort they put into some of their unique cocktails is insane. I do not think it is a place Birmingham will ever truly appreciate how good it reallt is. If it was in Nashville or something, it would be an hour + wait no matter what time of the day you went. Here, you can walk in and generally find a seat anytime, not that I'm complaining . Really good people that run it.

House of Found Objects as well for just great cocktails and eclectic atmosphere.

Hop City is one of my go to's as well.

Haven't been there in a while, but that patio is great when the weather is nice like it is and the fire pit is going.

In that same area, Mustard Club is really good for lunch. They have some great sandwiches. It is a little pricey for sandwiches, but the quality is excellent.

The Harrington Pub just opened up too where Lumbar used to be. It is run by the same people that do The Anvil pub down 280, it is a very similar style and offering. Stopped by on their opening night and enjoyed it. Good pint of guinness and the fish & chips and scotch egg were good. They've had a window open during the farmer's market the past few saturdays and I tried their fried chicken biscuit that will be on their sunday brunch menu and it was very good.
