I have a nephew who calls it “cracker sauce”.
DTB peeps make this condiment and it’s a direct cousin of what Brits call “Marie Rose sauce”, which was super popular in the 1960s. Someone needs to trace its origins....a deep dive into the Houma Courier or Daily Comet would probably produce some references....and it likely has its roots in some home economics type recipes from 50s-60s. It is common in Lafourche/Terrebonne/St Mary area.

WowWee is made by a family out of Galliano, they have a production facility there too.

Hard to dip a mush soaked crawfish. Easy to dip a soaked rubber crawfish.

A few ounces of white vinegar with 6 to 8 shots of Crystal Hot Sauce..

This, but replace lemon with sriracha. And much less ketchup than mayo.
