La Tiendita at the overpass on Siegen, take the turn to the North at the west side of the overpass itself. Good Mexican fron Mexicans according to several posters.

Same owners also own Sarita's on the Diversion Canal and in Hammond.

trying to jump ship? just walk into your boss' office and demand a raise. if he says no then nobody will be surprised when they see you eating lunch with the head of a rival company.

Sarita's in Hammond? Is that the place near the hotel right off the Interstate? I've never been but heard good things. It's got to be better than Mi Patio in Ponchatoula, that place makes me sad.

What do you decide? Did it work out? Anybody spot you and your mistress having lunch?

Some good thoughts, I appreciate... hawks nest is money, haven't been there in years and I've never heard anyone talk about it ever.
And, since I'm Caucasian, arzis at the mall may be pretty safe, holiday season or not

Can't a guy just go out to a good lunch and enjoy a quality novel uninterrupted, then do a little Christmas shopping? frick, it's not like I'm asking for a post work out dive near whiskey bay.

Well chief you came here asking for somewhere to eat and hide what did you expect? I think it's a pretty suspect thread as well.

As for LaTiendita it is on the other end of Seigan at Cloverland where the old Jim's Firearms used to be. The place by the overpass is a Mexican buffet with a different name that I don't recall.

El Magey -- or El Maguey, depending on which sign you view.

Their website says "under new management", then goes on to say it's a brother of the originators. Haven't been there in a while so I wonder what has changed.
