There's Mr. Lester's Steakhouse at Cypress Bayou Casino in nearby Charanton.

I have been going to Mr. Lesters on average 4-5 times a year
It has been a favorite of mine for many years even with the high price of a meal until recently.
I went about 6 months ago and the dining was horrible. Poor service, cold food and over cooked steak just to name a few.
Try the Forest in Franklin for supper and Cooper Street Coffee in Jeanerette for breakfast or lunch but check their hours.
