Any recommendations in the general Gonzales for a casual brunch/lunch this Saturday around 10AM-11AM? Not sure if most places are back open yet and taking sit ins. TIA. Just somewhere along the I-10 corridor between Gonzales/Prairieville/Sorrento/etc.

What type of food? Houmas House is about 7 minutes from the interstate. It is a plantation home and one of their restaurants is casual and very good. If you go, just tell them at the entrance you are there to eat and you won't have to pay the entrance fee. The grounds are incredible and worth visiting for a few minutes to walk around

If you want seafood:
The Cabin, Don’s Seafood Hut, Mike Anderson’s
Mexican:
Taquiera don beto II, El Meskal
BBQ: Hannah Q
If you really want a nice experience, definitely Houma’s House.

Not brunch, but as a PSA, Carlico Cafe in GTown is a solid breakfast place.
Maybe check and see if Snos does brunch?
