Our first time going there since the renovation and new name.
Food and service were both excellent.
We went there for a late lunch (2:30) and we were the only 2 people in the entire restaurant. The views are great, our food was great and the place was spotless. I don't understand why it was so empty on a Saturday.

How long ago was this? My last visit was about a year ago. Poor service and the food tasted as if it had been freshly thawed in a microwave.

I stopped going couple years ago. I really tried to like it but we had too many bad experiences. Sadly Dicarlos is no where near what Kevin’s was in their prime.

When was that because we went when it was Kevin's on 3 separate occasions and our shortest wait time for a table was 40 minutes.
Hell, it took them 75 minutes to bring us our food once.
Google reviews are horrible and I must just be missing something.

When they were at their original location before they built the place on diversion. When the new Kevins was built on the diversion it wasn’t as good as the original but I still found it was better than Dicarlos which is why you had those wait times. Yes they had a few rough patches but overall most of my experiences were good.

This. I’ll never forget my final birthday lunch at Kevin’s the day before Covid lockdowns were in full effect. That place was special.

Last time for me was 2018 when it was Kevin’s. I was unaware it had changed ownership/name. I need to get out more.
