I'm pretty excited about this. Nice to have a nicer option for steaks and boiled seafood like this in Metairie

Nothing ever lasts in that space.

Is their Burger venture in Harahan even working for them?

I like it, but I live right next to it and every time I drive by it is empty

Last few places have been subpar though. I think DV track record brings something different

Lotta people I know in that area have been pretty excited for this the last few months. Lotta bad reviews on Rizzuto’s too. Could be a need for this type of pace

I agree that if anyone can make it work it might be DV, but I will remain skeptical that it will be hot for a couple of months at first and then fade. High end in Metairie can be a tough sell.

I have been several times on weeknights and it's never been empty.

When I say empty, I mean I dont see how they are making money

I have gone multiple times and there are maybe 6-7 other tables there?

Have been on Friday and Saturdays as well

Around 5:30 though so maybe I am a little early for the crowd.

And driving by it daily is never "packed"

Not been the case for me but I usually hit it up on the weekends.

We went there for a late lunch on Saturday. It was tasty, but pretty damn pricey. Here's what we ordered:

My wife and one of my sons each got two sliders with fries
My older son got a plain burger, add bacon
I got one of their specialtiy burgers, and swapped fries for a baked potato
My wife drank water, we got two sodas and a small shake

The bill w/o tip was $66. I tipped a little over 20% since the service was good, so $80 for essentially 4 burgers, a shake and two sodas. Food and service were good, but we could have gotten an equally good meal at say... Company Burger for a lot less money.

Their prices are a little high. I never eat in, always to go. Can’t justify paying drink prices and gratuity after paying a premium for a burger

The 1/2 lb burger at company is $14 and doesn’t include fries fwiw. You don’t tip there but they are expensive as well

I went a couple weeks ago. Not bad, but there are a handful of places around town I can get a better burger in the same price range.

Port of Call
Lakeview Harbor
Beach Corner
