So I am going skiing jan 1-7 in beaver creek and was wondering if you all had any recommendations for breweries to go to.
I think we are planning to go to Avery's and breckenridge in Denver but was not sure what was up near (<1 hour) beaver creek.

in Denver, go to the Crooked Stave taproom
it is in an awesome building that includes restaurants, cheese shop, wine shop, butcher, etc
just a cool place to spend an evening

Avery for sure.
Great Divide in Denver is a nice drinking spot as well.
What's Beaver Creek like? looking for a place to go in March.

Avery is about a half hour north of Denver in boulder and not on the way to beaver creek, but worth the drive. There is nothing in beaver creek but good riding. Backcountry in Frisco is a cool spot. In Denver hit up Crooked Stave, Great Divide, Epic, Prost, River North, and Black Shirt are all within a couple miles of each other. I don't care for Breckenridge Brewing but if you go the one on Kalamath is where they actually brew.

And if you are in Denver around Great Divide and River Nort....hit Falling Rock.

If you are coming up to go ride/ski you should probably just skip Denver. Denver is a trap. If you hit Great Divide and River North then your gonna hit Falling Rock and if you hit Falling Rock then your gonna hit Fresh Craft and then your close to Euclid Hall then .......Next thing you know you've been here a week and are still in Denver with a couple breweries you havent been to yet.

I've never been, my buddy works at the ritz on blood gulch.
I'm thinking we are going to do a full day in Denver for just beer. But I'll be in beaver creek most of the time, I'm assuming most of these beers are going to be able to be found in beaver creek?

It's actually Bachelor Gulch and that is a great Ritz Carlton. Good skiing right there near the hotel and our favorite spot to stop and have lunch (shots).

From east to west, leaving Denver..... Stop in at Tommyknockers in Idaho Springs, Dillon Dam Brewery in Dillon, Pug Ryan's in Dillon, Backcountry Brewery in Frisco, Gore Range Brewing in Edwards, and Crazy Mountain Brewing in Edwards. All are along the I70 corridor.
