I'd be surprised if y'all found any waitresses dumb enough to work at that location. They sure as hell ought to know you can't make tips if noone comes in. That whole location is just turrible

Has Dempsey's figured out how to get their fries crispy? If so, I will be visiting often. I love that place but the damn fries make me go elsewhere.

A TON of stuff has changed on the inside. Redone bar, floors, 2 brick fireplaces were added. All of the kitchen equipment has been installed. The signage should be installed this week.

Still such a horrible location, I think they would have been better behind Rotolos or moved into old Charlie Brown's place

Charlie Brown's place failed health inspection. There is a reason it closed and the food sucked.

That's not a great spot either. Tucked away back in the corner of a center.

The two times I ate at the Jefferson location I wasn't able to park in the parking lot, but the food was excellent.

I think it'll do well here. We don't have that many quality eat places.

Parking at the location on Coursey can be a challenge.

Lunch time is a problem at the Jefferson location too. People circle the lot and give up in disgust.

There are 4-5 people being trained at the one I work at right now and I assume at least a couple will be moving to the new location.

We lost a ton of people lately due to getting married, graduating college, etc.
It will open ASAP though. We aren't talking months or anything.

We'll give Dempsey's in P-Ville a shot, but if the staff has a shitty attitude like the one on Coursey, than we'll take Dempsey's off our radar. I remember when the staff at Dempsey's on Coursey was always solid even with some employee turnover, which is common in that type of biz.

Not just saying it because of my bias, but I agree. I can't eat fried seafood from anywhere else. Sammy's.. every single thing fried there tastes the same. Their oil just has a particular taste.

Chimes fries >>>> Dempsey's fries, although I do think Dempsey's has the best fried catfish in town.

The post was shared by a mom my age, initials MC, with two girls who compete(d)
