Deep Fried Kosher Pickle Spears

You Baws really need to try this! I hate to admit it but I first ahd em in yankee country but brought them home and they are our new go to fried pickles.

Dry em good and sust with corn starch then egg wash then breading of your choice we used zaterain wonderful fish fry.They came out great and are gonna be our new side every time we fry something. Try it!! and let me know.

They've been serving them at Pluckers for as long as I can remember ole son.

Best item on Plucker's menu to me.

Well they wuz new to me and delicous. Thought I could turn yall on to the new good thing. Didn't know they were old course I aint heard of no pluckin joint either.

To your credit...Plucker's is the only place I've ever seen fried pickles like that.

Dill pickle slices have been around for ever and thats what we usta do. These kosher spears are our new go to very good and different from the slices

I'm with ya, Cap. I like the higher ratio of pickle to breading that you get from a spear.

Well our anniversary celebration continues. We are off to work(drink) our way to BR with a few stops on the way and plan to wind up at Red Robin for burgers. I know I know you baws hate on the place but ma wife is a celiac and that is the only place we have found where she can get a gluten free burger and eat the fries.

Absolutely. First time I had spears was at pluckers. Not very good.
