Yes. Sous vide at 140 for 48 hours. Then slice thick and fry.

Nothing to say here other than.... hope i never have to eat anything you cook.

Dude it’s a loin (one of the most tender cuts of meat) and a fricking brisket (literally one of the toughest cuts). They are in no way similar other than the lack of bone. Just in case.... a loin can come bone in.

I could maybe see smoking one then battering it and dropping it in some grease. But, the thing with that is that if you don’t know what you are doing that fricker is going to be tough when it comes out the smoker.

I have had a few customers tell me that they deep fried a roast in their turkey fryer ... they said it came out really well. I have not tried it.... about 5 min per pound is what they said FWIW

If you sound vide it for about 24 hours and cut into strips it might work. As far as frying the whole thing...that would probably be terrible.

I agree that in theory, deep frying a brisket is not a good idea. But, my stepfather and I tried injecting and deep frying some pork butts (cut in half) one year when we had the grease hot for frying turkeys, and the results were phenomenal. Crunchy, juicy and flavorful, it has since become a holiday staple. I think it might be worth trying, just for the sake of science. If there is a chance it would come out any where near as nice as the pork butt, it would be worth it. Maybe marinate it over night to break down some of the tissue.

I fry fish all the time, so you can definitely fry a brisket with no problem
