Not that we are duplicating chopped, but many of the ingredients there are things real cooks, much less chefs, would never use.
That is one of their complaints often.
That is why I suggested Kraft Mac and Cheese. It is typical of what might show up on the show and piss everyone off. Then they make something cool from it.
And my nomination was Kraft Mac and Cheese, i.e. boxed. Not real stuff.

exactly the point/
If we only picked easy items then it removes the fun of it all.
Since there is no tasting at all in this challenge then why not have some messed up stuff? Since plating is going to count for 100%.

I'm a plus +1 on Egg Nog as well.

Chorizo is in. So that's Egg Nog and Chorizo.
If Liver gets another vote it is in. We are only taking 2 proteins in the top 6, so if you want something besides Liver or Chorizo (like I do, hate both ingredients), then vote now.
