The wife and I are having our first night out alone since our son was born six months ago. We're looking for somewhere in BR that we can eat, drink and that has live music. I thought about superior grill which fits that bill, but with covid, I'm not sure if the music is happening, nor do I know of any other places that fit that criteria.

Is Ringside next to Sullivan's open and hosting bands? If so you can go to Sullivan's and have a nice dinner then walk over to Ringside for drinks and music.

That’s a good age to bring the baby to the restaurant with yall. Time it with a nap, leave them in the car seat. Baby sleeps while yall eat. Easy. Do it now before they’re crawling and more mobile.

I think the Chee Weez are playing tomorrow night at Point Marie (River Road). Walk-Ons will have a cash bar and a food truck there. Bring a blanket (outdoor venue).

The show for tomorrow is sold out but Beauvoir Park is doing a huge music lineup all weekend for what would be parade weekend. Band tonight. Bands all day Saturday. Band Sunday.
Just get a nice meal at DiGuilios or BLDG5 first. Beauvoir Park is BYOB so pack a blanket or folding chairs and bring your cooler.

You're probably right, I have no idea. It's been many a moon since I've been there. But man, those pineapple martinis for $5 were deadly.

Went to Superior on Highland a few weeks ago and it was packed. Don't remember if there was live music or not though. It was as loud as I remember it being though

Live music hasn’t started back up yet at Superior Highland I don’t believe. No idea on Govt. It was only on weekdays (and jazz band for Sunday brunch) when it was happening.
