In all seriousness... Have you tried the other options before declaring them the best?

Has everyone in this thread tried every cupcake at every place that has been mentioned?

I dont know about everyone but I've had cupcakes from all 3 places mentioned in this thread on multiple occasions. Plus 2 places in bossier... But that's irrelevant.

Im not trying to be rude or anything. I just really appreciate cupcakes and like to pretend to be a cupcake critic.

I'll be honest and say no, I haven't. But the pumpkin pie cupcake, mint chocolate, and chocolate coconut are all heavenly.

I don't really go out of my way for cupcakes though, but everyone who has eaten the cupcakes I have brought from Cupcake Coutore have been happy.

Cupcakes n cream has a really good base- very moist. They also have mini cupcakes that are pretty good. The chocolate and chocolate/Reese's ones are the best IMO.

Cupcake Couture has the best icing but there base can be somewhat dry if u go late in the day. Check out there Facebook page today though- they delivered cupcakes to Erin Andrews at the LSU practice facility today.

I've heard good things about sweet wishes but haven't been there.

cake is so much better than cupcakes IMO, i think its easier to keep a cake moist. I keep going to parties and what not and get fricking cup cakes.

I see where you are coming from but enjoy a good cupcake every now and then. They are easy for parties, no cutting and all that.

I messaged Grrrrrrrrl and she's ignoring me, as usual. Something about stalking, a restraining order, and a taser.

I may just go with an assortment from one of the places near the mall (either Sweet Wishes or Couture)

Maybe a tasting is in order first, though.

Report back if you taste both! This is vital information.

I would go to sweet wishes instead of cupcake couture. Cupcake couture's actual cake tends to be dry, especially if you're going later in the day.

Sweet wishes is good if you like that whip cream icing. I've had cupcakes n cream too and their icing is ok if you like butter cream. Both of them had pretty good cake. Whatever you do, stay away from Braums, it's gross! Their cupcakes are dry and their icing has a funny taste to it!

This is absolutely true. My b-i-l spent about $75 on cupcakes for a gathering, and some Duncan Hines would have been a welcome replacement. They were quite dry. I thought it may have been an anomaly and bought a couple a few months later. Same.

I got Baum's for my daughter's bday and people raved about them. Real buttercream, too. I've had issues with Baums, but they came through on the cupcakes.
