Crooked Letter Brewing Co.

Is the brewery in Ocean Springs still open? Their website makes it sound like they are closed indefinitely and I can't even find a valid Facebook, but they had a google review posted a week ago, and I see no mention anywhere online of them closing.

It was good at first. Had some infected batches though. The rest of their stuff ranged from average to bad. Not a shock they closed.

Now it all makes sense.
I tried buying some Mystery Romp last week. The owner of the shop told me that his last order was all bad and customers had been complaining. He said he'd never order from them again.
I should've known the F&D board would have all the answers.

It looks like the brewery just disappeared without a trace sometime in the last 12 months. It's a shame because I loved their Mystery Romp, though as with a few others here, the last six-pack was bought was sour and clearly from a bad batch.

Possible good news - if you visit this site, it says Crooked Letter is re-opening in October.

Word is that Crooked Letter will re-open by the end of the year, but as a "brewpub" only. You will have to physically go to the brewery to buy the beer. The plan is to eventually work back up to distributing, but it sounds like they have to start over from scratch, hence the slow reboot.

Yeah, my understanding is there was a pretty nasty divorce, between the husband/wife team that owned it which led to it closing. As part of the nasty divorce, all of the Crooked Letter brewing equipment was sold, so he is having to start over from scratch.

Crooked Letter Brewing Co. has reopened in a bigger and better location. Mystery Romp is on tap and tastes great. Already becoming a favorite again. January is our soft opening month, so stop by for a pint and let us know what you think. BrewPub, Bourbon Bar, Humidor, and Kitchen coming. Grand Re-Opening Soon. Hours of Operation M-Sa 11AM-11PM Sun 1PM-9PM

Big equipment coming to our new location tentatively end of February after our kitchen is finished being built.

Prolly need to list the address... making a trip out that way in a month for work and the month after that for a golf trip. Will try to stop by and check it out.
