Crawfish in Cajun Country

Taking a ride from Prairieville to Elton tomorrow... who has the best crawfish along the route? In the past I’ve always gone to Hawk’s, but they’re closed this year. Mo’ Crawfish in Mowata was also a favorite but they’re closed on Sundays. Any suggestions?

A buddy of mine recommended Breaux’s Crawfish, Meche’s, S&S, Crawfish House, Grandaddy’s, Cajun Claws in Duson, Cody’s, & The Crawfish Spot... never heard of any of em

Cajun-claws in abbeville is the best, but is far from your route.
I suggest Hawks in Rayne, 2nd best IMO, and will be closer to Elton.

All my go to’s are either out of your way or closed on Sundays.
C’est Bon in Mermentaw is out of the way and closed on Sunday but my favorite.
Di’s in Basile is closed on Sunday.
Darrell’s in Jennings is closed on Sunday.

No they’re not. In fact, I believe the family of the Abbeville one tried to sue the Duson owners for trademark or something.

That and Louisiana Crawfish Time in Lafayette are my two favorite places for boiled crawfish.
