um..... I've had Willie's twice. Mediums on top of the tray with smalls on the bottom, and no spice at all.

Sammy's seems to have more flavor.

Crawfish to Geaux food truck at Acadian and Perkins has been my favorite so far, but that's "to-go" only.

They're my favorite as well.

I plan to do Sammy's this weekend. They usually are pretty solid.

FIY, for the past three weekends, they've run out halfway through the day on Sundays.

Has anyone tried Chow Yum Phat?

Good to know. I was planning on Sunday. I love to sit in their bar on Sundays with the drunks.

I dislike it, but most people love it. Its good the first few, but I get sick of the lemongrass quickly.

That said, CYP is a fantastic restaurant. I won a contest for free crawfish and they sent me a gift card and when I went to pick it up, they refused to take my gift card and told me to use it next time I come in. I shredded it so they get the money anyway. They are too kind.

I always thought Sammy's was damn solid. Always large but not hard and had good flavor. This was like 10 years ago however so unsure if things have changed.

People dont think about it but if Lakeside is doing crawfish I always found them to be good.

Lakeside has always been great and definitely the most spicy crawfish from a restaurant in town.

Brightside holds the trophy of worst crawfish I've ever had from a restaurant. I've only been once and it was 100% reboiled garbage. Mushy and smelled terrible. I couldn't believe it. AND i was drunk when we went... it could be worse than that, had I been sober.

Yeah it was probably hit or miss. They used to do a pretty good all you can eat deal so if fresh was ok but I am sure they used old shite as well.

I personally think the crawfish at Willies are terrible. I don’t care for Sammy’s, either.

Montalbanos has a small dine-in area

The new Hot Tails in Prarieville will have them starting next Friday. If you haven’t had their crawfish you’re in for a treat!

Awesome cocktails too!

We ate Hot Tails on Saturday. Hands down, the best restaurant crawfish I've had in the Baton Rouge area. Everywhere else has tasted plain as if they're trying to either save money on spices, or appeal to old people tastes.
