Marketing gimmick, Serranos had a similar idea.
There are something like five premium tequilas out there, a few more good ones. I don't see the appeal of people sampling a bunch of mediocre tequilas, doesn't seem the same as imported beer tasting.

Someone earlier wrote that they counted only a little over 100 spots including the newly paved area. Sorry man, not enough especially for a Mexican joint from Laffy. Now body in BR has any respect for that town. Sorry

I don't think I've ever eaten at a Mexican restaurant in BR but Coyote Blues is definitely good. This thread made me start craving duck quesadillas.
