I guess after reading the replies so far that I’m the only one having success with this brand. I’ve found maybe a couple of foreign items before that shouldn’t have been in the bag (like a piece of 2x4 that had been reduced to charcoal), but overall, I’ve had no issues. The only consistent complaint I’d have is that there’s not a lot of consistency in size of pieces, but I can generally work around that.

Recently bought a bag of Cowboy after having 4 or so bad bags of B&B in a row. I found that it lights quicker, but definitely burns faster and not as clean. It does seem to pop more, but I wouldn't dock it points for that
.
That said, I will probably go back to Royal Oak when this bag is out.

Has anyone used "Harder", which they sell at Home Depot?
I ordered some. Looks like a Fogo knockoff, but it was pretty cheap and had solid reviews.

The last couple of bags of Royal Oak have been kind of crappy with small bits. Has anyone used Kamado Joe Lump?
About $25 per bag for 20 lbs but sounds like it is worth it.

Many times. It’s very good.

If you can catch a Kamado Joe roadshow at a Costco near you, you can save $$$ bigly.

It's not nearly as bad as people make it out to be, but there are better options.

Only lump worth buying is Kamado joe big block
I bought 2 boxes, first box was pieces smaller than briquettes. Took a picture, sent an email. They are supposed to be shipping me a replacement and I haven't opened the 2nd box yet.
I will say I cooked 2 shoulders and a chicken last weekend and half the box and some wood chunks burned for 24 hours and had a few hours left in it.

KJ big block and Jealous Devil are both really good. I've been buying whichever is cheaper but decided to try something different.
