Will 2 sacks of crawfish fit in a 65 qt Rtic/Yeti cooler?
Want a cooler that will fit 2 sacks both in sack and loose.

It'd be tight, and they'd be climbing out pretty easily I'd imagine when the lid is open.
ETA: The ice chest I normally use that I thought was a 65 is actually an 85, which is why I thought it could work. Did the math below, and it won't.

I'm especially curious if 2 sack would fit in there and the cooler still be able to close.

So just doing the math, a 22"*14.5"*10" crawfish sack is about 1.8cuft in volume, or 55qt.
According to RTIC's dimensions, their 65qt cooler is actually 2.3cuft, or 70qt.
All this to say, two isn't gonna fit

Yea, won't fit. As previous poster did the math, one sack in bag fits snug.

Dang guess I'd need to go up to the 100Qt, I assume that'd fit?

I have a 100qt that you can't fit 2 in the sacks and close the lid (not that you want to all the way), even though you could probably put 4 loose sacks in it.
ETA: That SOAB holds A LOT of beer though.

No way in hell you're getting 4 loose sacks of crawfish in a 100 qt. cooler.
I have a 48 qt. cooler and it will hold a 40 lb. sack, but it is damn near full, but the top will close if needed.

Ok, so 3.
I've never put more than 2 at a time to rinse, but there was plenty room left

Get a 150 igloo. I can fit three sacks on top of a 2 inch layer of ice. I can bust the three sacks and easily rinse all three in it.

A crawfish retailer once told me that the rule of thumb is a pound per quart. They'll probably fit, but not with a lot of room to spare.

Negative ghost ryder....not even close

Live? Still in the sack? If so not a chance. I have a 94 quart that I put my crawfish in after they boiled. 2 sacks comes out a out 1 1/2" from the top. It will hold 1 sack fine with a little room for ice.
