I usually poach it, but I'm gonna try the slow roast.

I hadn't cooked salmon in a while, but I would make a little Asian sauce with soy sauce, sesame oil, rice wine vinegar and five spice powder. Then I would baste the fish and cook it in the oven for 10 minutes or so at about 350

I pan fried some salmon a couple of weeks ago. Marinated in honey mustard then coated in bread crumbs. About a minute or 2 on each side then put it in the oven for a bit.

I put them on a toasted Hawaiian sweet bun drizzled with honey with lettuce tomato and onion. Then I buried it with homemade honey mustard(horseradish mustard, mayo, honey)

Sweet potato fries on the side. Best thing I've eaten this year

You can't screw salmon up, and you know when it's done. Grilling is my favorite way but wrapping in foil with a few lemon slices places throughout, putting in the oven until done is second. It's easy and low maintenance.

Smoked is my favorite but to do it right requires some work.

Poached in a mixture of water, white wine and white wine vinegar with a bouquet garni for the aromatics /herbs for flavor enhancers. A drizzle of maltaise before serving.

I bought 3 fillets tuesday that were approx 1.8lbs in total weight. Seasoned them with a little of each: homeade blackening mix, cracked salt, cracked pepper, garlic salt.....

Placed skin down in a greased pyrex dish in the oven at 300 for 15 min.

They were awesome. I love salmon..... Scraped right off the skin. Made fish tacos with them for dinner..... Had a salmon salad for lunch with leftovers the next day.

Two ways.
using 3 lb piece of salmon, season with garlic salt, pepper, sea salt. cut fresh tomatoes into thin slices. place sliced tomatoes over salmon (tomatoes shouldn't overlap)... lay piece of foil over salmon but don't press and seal the edges to the pan. cook at 450 for 20 mins. moist salmon and tomatoes are money.

#2.. marinate salmon with trader joes soyaki marinade... bfore cooking place salmon on foil..pour marinade over.. sprinkle garlic powder ligtly with sea salt, cracked pepper... cover with foil liberally.. 450 20 mins

enjoy
