Since when did BH start selling NOLA beers ?
I don't know if they had it this weekend, but I'm pretty certain they had it last visit I was in there...probably around this time last year.

shite...scratch that. You're right. It was probably an Abita Amber. That works for me too.

I'm almost 100% positive they don't serve NOLA.

Nice looking oysters, they do have some of the best in town.

I went to Bourbon House back in December, and it was literally the worst service I've ever had. We won't go back.

Took over 30 minutes to get our first drink, food took over an hour, never re-filled our waters, our bill was totally wrong, we had 5 different waiters approach us, etc. Just seemed really unorganized.

If the waiter can't offer basic service, why oh why should I expect the person that trained them to be any better? Face it, a lot of managers were once poorly trained waiters.

One of the most off-base things I've read here in a while.

Wait and see what ? Did you make contact with BH or did you just come here to vent your frustration ? If you just wanted to vent cool, but if you want to take it further with BH I can put you in touch with the right person. They are aware of this thread.

I hate that dumb arse lawsuits make me have to cover my arse and keep people longer than I want to.
Tell me about this. Why should you have to keep people on longer than you want to?

Sometimes it is best to have a solid paper trail. Everybody will go on about Louisiana being "at will" but it doesn't mean you won't have to defend yourself. A good paper trail can shut down a possible lawsuit quick.

I understand the need to hold on the records and such, but I'm not understanding why you keep people on longer than you want. Give me an example of what you are talking about. What type of lawsuit are you protecting yourself from? I'm sincerely curious.

I have to admit expecting a near perfect experience every time in a restaurant is in reality not going to happen. I have seen people who forgot to have fun because they were so fixated on everything they could find wrong or bad or what ever. To have spent your energy fixated on the service you got one time at some place that in the whole world of everything isn't worth the calories you are burning to worrying about it. I know places that have shitty service that's the way it is and if I want some good arse food that's what I will put up with. When I go out service is not anything I think of. When I go out I want some good food. I don't really care much for the rest. To expect something in return if your waiter takes 10 minutes to get you a drink is kind of silly. I mean if the line at the grocery store is long do you call the manager over and say I am having a bad experience the cashier is clearly not fast enough and then expect the manager to say yeah I am going to comp his hamburger meat because he had to wait. I mean how many of you when you are driving down the highway and the speed limit says 55 but because you can only do 40 call the state and complain you had a bad driving experience today. Steer clear of my place. We live in a reality that is well reality. Glad I live on island time. The food will be ready when its ready. We might of had 2 people call in sick and not much of anything you can do about that. It might then take the kitchen longer to get the food out and well in reality that's the reality. You can sit there and complain that it took so long to get your food but reality is reality. 2 guys aint doing the work of 4. Relax life's too short to be mad at life because shite happens......
