That's a pretty huge range (Essen-73). I'd pick the closest bar to where you lay your head at night and start drinking. If you want specific quality of food or female eye candy, that will change the recommendation.

That said, the cottage is your place for a local AP crowd and the chance for slutty teacher. Or one of the many high end daiquiri shops at the 73 exit.

I stopped there one night last week for a cold one. Was not a bad place. Real friendly crowd. The bartender introduced me to all of the patrons.
