Heaven forbid that the quality of the meat can stand on its own without the taste being overrun by spices that make it taste like everywhere else. It is going to be different than any other place.

Best Stop is ridiculously good boudin. Had some over the weekend at Finn's. A pistollette stuffed with Best Stop boudin and then deep-fried. Fricking awesome.

Everything I have tried is pretty damn good.

Mac n cheese truffle balls deep fried with panko.
Pulled pork on Doung Phong bread with the slaw.
The previously mentioned boudin pistolettes.

I would say whatever sounds good to you get.

ETA: I haven't tried the pulled pork egg rolls, but they are next on the list.

All it takes is a few places doing something a little different, yet familiar to the crowd. Cochon is going to be a huge success in Laffy.
