I'm looking for a private room at an upscale restaurant capable of seating 20-25 people in metro area. I have used Ralph's and Commanders in the past. Just looking for a new idea. Any thoughts on the private rooms above Couchon?

Hit up some of the nicer hotels with good kitchens. I bet more than one has a conference room/meal combination that they offer.

As for the Cochon room, I had a friend that had an engagement party up there and was very happy with their service and food.

Muriel's has a nice upstairs area for private events. They will probably even open the balcony for folks to have cocktails and look out over Jackson Square.

Antoines has lots of private rooms of varying sizes.

Domenica has a room that will meet you needs. Had a Christmas dinner here last year with my wife's staff. Everything was perfect. Highly recommend it.

Thanks, for the input. I am leaning for the wine room at Calcassieu- which is the private party area for Cuchon. Main reasoning being parking.

Antoine's is awesome for that kinda thing. We had graduation dinners there for a few years in a couple of the rooms. Classic old school nola stuff. You can park at the Omni for like $5 which is a block away.
