Cleveland Food Review- HOF Weekend

I wanted to provide the board with the dishes indulged in on our trip to Cleveland (where we stayed) during HOF weekend.

1. Mabel’s BBQ on 4th - chef Michael Symon’s place. Great spot with great food (Midwest take on bbq). Wife had the smoked turkey and I had the pork spare ribs. We split a side of smoked brisket pierogies that were topped with caramelized onions, chives, and sour cream.

2. Agave & Rye - we split chips and queso as a side and each had a taco flight (3 each). I went with “The Becky” (chicken, Mac n cheese, bbq jam, bacon, and fried onion strings), “The Gangsta” (birria beef, Mexican rice, roasted corn, queso & white cheddar, chipotle Serano crema, cilantro, and tajin lime), and “The Smoke Show” (bbq pulled pork, sweet corn fritters, bacon, queso, and fried onion strings).

3. Martha on the Fly - wife went with “The Betty” and I had “The Agnes” (signature egg patty, cheese, sunshine sauce, shaved & griddled steak, and added caramelized onions and bacon).

4. Battr - new dessert shop that recently opened. Wife went with the Oreo milkshake and I had 3 scoops of gelato (Nutella, vanilla bean, and cookies n cream).
