I like a toro too. I find the Excaliburs deliver consistent pleasure at an affordable price. I plan to stick with them. There is a lot of crap out there.

I smoke the claros from time to time, but prefer the Maduro.
They have a couple different smokes out, one called the "Excalibur Legend" and the other with a Cameroon wrapper. The Legend is supposed to be more full-bodied and the Cameroon more "spicy". I want to give them a try.
I wonder if it is spicy like some of the AVOs.
I do still enjoy the good old Excaliburs....... I hope that continues for a long time.

Recently been gravitating back towards a more medium bodied smoke. I find when I just smoke extremely strong cigars, which is my preference, switching things up is a pleasant change.
So as I type this, I'm smoking a Ava Maria Divinia.

Has anyone else experienced this?
I ordered some "sampler packs" containing Ghurkas. The Ghurkas tased fine but BURNED LIKE CRAZY. they ran, went out and burned ENTIRELY TOO QUICKLY!!! Ghurkas get great reviews online, and they taste good, but I can't stand a cigar that does not burn well. It ruins my enjoyment.
Too many other fish in the sea for me to order these without being able to hold it anfd examine it.
Anyone else had this experience with Ghurkas?

Here's the root cause:
Ghurka is a marketing company, not a cigar company. They don't own a factory, and sub everything out to other factories that may or may not give a shite about quality control.
ETA: Also, their MSRPs are HILARIOUSLY inflated, allowing places like CI to easily put them on "sale" at up to 80% off, when really they're selling for too much even at that point.

I handed my FIL that smoke tonight. Solid smoke IMO. I bought the chunktacular 2 (?) from CI which was worth the price for the ManOWars alone. The Ramone buesos, HCs, MOW, and 5Vegas were all in 1 sampler at 6X60
