Popeye's and KFC are the only two fried chicken chains that can be discussed.

Churches > Popeye's > KFC
Churches has the best chicken and biscuits, Popeye's the best mash potatoes, KFC will the mac and cheese and that bowl thing is pretty good.
Popeye's red beans are distributed everywhere... they sell their product to Captain Sal's and all the other seafood chains.

Church's isn't bad, I just find it to be a lot greasier than Popeye's. I remember the Church's on Highland past the North Gates would have a 15pc special for something like $4.99 every so often.

Cajuns Fabulous Fried chicken was the best chicken chain hands down. A few closed after Katrina and the only one left is in Gulfport, MS now.

Aren't most Church's IN gas stations?
I haven't had Church's in decades. I remember the chicken being good, but the fries were these horrible crinkly things, a lot like Cane's. Did they improve on that? Should I risk going to the location near Gardere? They keep sending me coupons in the mail, but I always go with the Popeye's coupons.

Churches is my favorite chicken over popeyes. I like my chicken crunchy, juicy, greasy, and delicious. Popeyes has better sides but Churches chicken rules.
