Do you just not like it? It's a weekly thing in our household.

Love Chinese food. I don't give a shite what it's made with. It's cheap and it's good.

I think I was served rat at an Indian place in Memphis
Rat, it's the new gumbo flavor component and the meatloaf extender of the future.
And, so Mr. Myth, what kind of curry did you order that was made with rat?
I will say that I have never knowingly consumed rat, but I have enjoyed quite a few of their bushy tailed relatives.
Nothing better than seeing a skull floating around in a bowl of squirrel dumplings.

I used to eat a place on Florida Blvd. in the 90s called Crimson Dragon. They served what was labeled as a chicken dish, but it was rings, and was a little chewy. It was delicious, though. I always thought it might be dogs' tails, sliced into rings. Regardless, it tasted good and I ate it up. They eventually were shut down for having a live dog in their kitchen, which they claimed was a pet, so my belief may have been accurate.

They soak a lot of the meat in baking soda to tenderize It and it gives it a different texture
