I love the taste but it tears up my stomach hours later.

Cant use it on dinner because I'll be up at 2am on the toilet

The momofuku is good. My favorite has been Boon, but it's a little expensive for what it is.


I'm interested in learning how to make my own.

I ate the hell out of Laoganma when I first discovered it. After a while, I noticed this really weird after taste. I just can't do it any more. Trader Joe's version is a good alternative that doesn't have some of the weird stuff in Laoganma, and it isn't super pricey like some of the others.

Just a heads up but many times when you order from Amazon it’s coming from an actual individual and not a company. Over 2/3 of items sold on Amazon are from individuals. I try to avoid many food type items on Amazon especially ones that should be fresh or somewhat fresh at least.
