A food scam? You mean you order wings and they make you sign up like ten others to get wings before you get your wings...then you get a BMW lease?
Cause it sounded like you were saying you didn't like chicken wings and that is just crazy. The chicken forearm is the tastiest protein on the planet.

Threads like this and the 5 Guys thread make me start singing "I love this board" sung to the tune of "I Love This Bar"

Just curious, why do they call them buffalo wings?
Posted on 10/22/15 at 4:07 pm to Count Chocula
they were made popular in Buffalo, NY
Posted on 10/22/15 at 4:09 pm to dallastiger55
Ok, then why do they call them boneless chicken wings?
Posted on 10/22/15 at 4:10 pm to dallastiger55
not that it matters, but my favorite chain buffalo wings

95% of this board is great stuff but 5% is absolute dogshit. I guess that comes with the territory and it can be entertaining at times but this thread is a perfect example of the idiocy some people have.
To say you shouldn't eat chicken wings for a Tuesday night dinner is just asinine.

I am always surprised at the intensity with which people can dislike something like Five Guys or wings.

I think if a wing place used thighs instead of wings they would be a huge hit.
Haven't read all 6 pages yet, but McGuire's in Ft Walton/Destin does this. And they're really good. I never cook wings anymore, just grab thighs.

I agree
It's a burger or fried chicken. If you go in expecting anything else then the problem is with you, not the food.

I agree. I like chicken wings fine, but they are so overpriced

It's pretty silly. This thread has made me want chicken wings, the whole ones, though. Is is okay to have those as a meal on Thursday night or am I pushing my luck?
If one is not at a wing stop, how does one watch the people waddling out with the wing meals? Park there? Sit at a light there? Look there instead of at the road when riding by? How does that work?

Well there is a football game tonight so its appropriate.

And he used waddle to suggest only fatties eat wings
If I eat 10 cajun wings from wingstop for dinner, it's a pretty nutritious meal. 650 cals, 5g carbs, 35g fat, 75g protein.

Thank goodness. That'll work. I'm going to waddle on in to a fried chicken joint and get some wings and maybe some rice or red beans as a side. Or maybe just wings...unless I decide to have breakfast for supper.

650 cals,
Thats it? Damn those sauces have some calories in them as I know some of the sauced ones are damn near 100 calories per wing.
Posted on 10/22/15 at 5:54 pm to BRgetthenet
yeah i always get sauce on the side and peel off most of the skin. sorry but i cant justify eating 2000 calories of wings and fries in a sitting
its always more of a side dish for me or a compliment vs a main meal.
if i do wings, like i said i buy the whole big arse wings and marinate them and smoke them. now thats a damn good meal, with some roasted corn and roasted potatoes!
